Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient role requiring EPIC charting experience and a current MA license.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Work within the Orleans PT/PTA unit
• Shift is from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Uses Epic for electronic medical records and UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
• Primary responsibilities include helping patients reach maximum physical function and independence
• Assist patients with exercises and in the use of assistive or supportive devices
• Documentation must be completed accurately in Epic
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for standard rates; local rates apply if within 60 miles
• Parking may not be validated and costs can range from $17-$22 daily depending on location

Requirements

• Current and active MA physical therapy license required; MA conditional licenses not accepted
• License required if applicable
• BLS certification required, AHA preferred
• No minimum years of experience required
• Experience with Epic charting is needed
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
