Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring an active MA license and at least 4 years of RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Use of Epic EMR system
- Main responsibilities include providing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
- Epic EMR experience is used in daily practice
- Parking is not validated; public transportation and paid public parking options are used
- Dress code and scrub color not specified; confirm with hiring manager
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this role
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum 4 years of RN experience
- At least 1 year of travel RN experience and Level 1 trauma experience required
- Proof of MA licensure required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered a traveler
