Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Massachusetts, requiring at least 4 years of ED experience and a current MA RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
- Required to work every other weekend and holidays
- Uses Epic charting system
- Treats a variety of emergency and high acuity patients
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital
- Assignment requires working with diverse and critical patient populations in a fast-paced environment
- Must cover every other weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled
- Parking is not validated; public transportation and paid public parking options available in the Boston area
- Timekeeping is managed via UKG/Kronos system
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Minimum of 4 years RN experience, including at least 1 year of travel and Level 1 Trauma experience
- Current BLS certification required, AHA preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Flu vaccination required with no exceptions for religious or medical exemption
