Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for an outpatient rehabilitation setting, requiring FL licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Position is based in an outpatient rehabilitation center
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM with 8-hour day shifts
Travelers are required to float and may be assigned to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes
Caseload includes general orthopedics and simple neuro cases with a focus on balance and vestibular rehabilitation
No on-call requirement
Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate into the team-oriented work environment
Candidates must be willing to float to nearby campuses as needed
All requests for time off must be declared prior to contract offer; no requests will be approved afterward
Candidates must attend remote orientation and be available in the area on orientation Friday for badge/ID
Professional, flexible, and team-focused attitude is strongly valued
No block scheduling is permitted

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience
Experience working with balance, vestibular, general orthopedics, and simple neuro patients required
Current FL Physical Therapist license required if applicable
Current BLS certification required
Must live outside a strict 50-mile radius from the facility address to be eligible
