Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for an outpatient rehabilitation setting, requiring FL licensure and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an outpatient rehabilitation center
- Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM with 8-hour day shifts
- Travelers are required to float and may be assigned to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes
- Caseload includes general orthopedics and simple neuro cases with a focus on balance and vestibular rehabilitation
- No on-call requirement
- Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate into the team-oriented work environment
- Candidates must be willing to float to nearby campuses as needed
- All requests for time off must be declared prior to contract offer; no requests will be approved afterward
- Candidates must attend remote orientation and be available in the area on orientation Friday for badge/ID
- Professional, flexible, and team-focused attitude is strongly valued
- No block scheduling is permitted
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience
- Experience working with balance, vestibular, general orthopedics, and simple neuro patients required
- Current FL Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Must live outside a strict 50-mile radius from the facility address to be eligible
