Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification, strong MRI safety knowledge, and experience with Siemens MR in a Level 1 Trauma teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital radiology department specializing in MRI procedures
• Monday through Friday day shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Patient population includes adults and pediatric cases, including anesthesia support
• Position is located in a Level 1 Trauma Center and academic teaching setting
• Candidates must have experience using Siemens MR systems
• Experience with Epic and PACS systems is preferred
• Primary responsibilities include MRI safety screening, research of patient implants, adherence to scanning protocols, and performing imaging on various patient populations
• No local travelers accepted within a 75-mile radius
• First-time travelers are not excluded from consideration

Requirements

• Current ARRT (MR) certification is required
• Current BLS certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching facility is preferred
• Demonstrated MRI safety proficiency, including research and assessment of implants
• Experience working with both adult and pediatric/anaesthesia cases
• Experience operating Siemens MR equipment is required
• Experience with Epic and PACS is preferred
• License required if applicable
• Two supervisor references from the past three years of employment must be provided
