Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and proficiency with IV drips, ventilators, and EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital
• May be required to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Patient care involves use of arterial lines, IV drips, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Vasoactive medication management required
• EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) used on the unit
• Charge and preceptor experience is a plus
• No block scheduling requests will be considered
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be approved
• All scheduling requests must be made prior to offer acceptance
• Medical and occupational health compliance must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years current ICU experience
• Current certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Experience with arterial lines, IV drips, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Own vehicle required for travel to assignment
