Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN Circulator with an active AZ or compact RN license and a minimum of two years' recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care Operating Room setting
• Shifts are Monday through Friday from 0730 to 1600
• On-call required approximately one overnight per week and one weekend every five weeks
• Role focuses on perioperative circulating nurse duties in the OR
• Floating to other qualified departments may occur based on need
• Orientation is held on Mondays and missing the compliance deadline will delay the start to the following Monday
• Travelers may be required to take a patient load or provide task-oriented support when floated
• Scrub attire and other dress code requirements will be provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• At least two years of recent experience as an OR Circulator is required
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required
• Must be willing and able to float to other units per facility needs
