Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of cardiovascular and vascular scanning experience and valid ARDMS or equivalent credentials.

Responsibilities

Position is based in an acute care setting with the possibility to float between local campuses
Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No weekend or on-call requirements
Patient population includes adult cardiovascular and vascular cases
EPIC EMR is utilized for documentation, with experience preferred
Primary responsibilities include performing cardiovascular and vascular sonography as part of a multi-disciplinary team
May be required to float within the same discipline across different campuses
No weekend or holiday call responsibilities
Expected to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays as needed
Scrubs are not specified, so bring appropriate work attire

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years recent experience in cardiac and vascular sonography
Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract
ARDMS, BCLS, CCI-RCIS, or RDCS certification required
Active Iowa state license required if applicable
Supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required
Epic EMR experience preferred
