Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN with an active OK or compact license and BLS certification for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital medical-surgical unit
Patient population spans infants to geriatrics
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Weekend shifts required as needed
No on-call responsibilities
Local candidates will be considered
Responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, nursing diagnoses, and plan of care implementation
Coordinates care with ancillary staff and multidisciplinary teams to uphold professional nursing standards
Up to 5 days of time off (RTO) may be requested

Requirements

Active RN license for Oklahoma or a compact state must be in hand at time of consideration
Minimum 6 months of med-surg experience required
Current BLS (AHA) and NIH certifications required
