Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB certification and two years of experience for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a nuclear medicine department performing diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging
  • Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Scheduled to work every 5th or 6th weekend on Saturday and Sunday
  • No on-call required
  • Responsibilities include performing diagnostic nuclear medicine studies, operating and maintaining imaging equipment, and administering radioisotopes as indicated
  • Must ensure patient comfort, address patient concerns, and ensure accurate exam documentation
  • Responsible for quality assurance, radiation safety, documentation, supply management, and basic equipment maintenance
  • May assist in other areas of radiology as needed
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off will be approved
  • Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment

Requirements

  • Registered in Nuclear Medicine with ARRT or NMTCB certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • BLS certification required
  • License required if applicable
