Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB certification and two years of experience for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a nuclear medicine department performing diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging
Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Scheduled to work every 5th or 6th weekend on Saturday and Sunday
No on-call required
Responsibilities include performing diagnostic nuclear medicine studies, operating and maintaining imaging equipment, and administering radioisotopes as indicated
Must ensure patient comfort, address patient concerns, and ensure accurate exam documentation
Responsible for quality assurance, radiation safety, documentation, supply management, and basic equipment maintenance
May assist in other areas of radiology as needed
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be approved
Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment

Requirements

Registered in Nuclear Medicine with ARRT or NMTCB certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
BLS certification required
License required if applicable
