Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for outpatient care, requiring a minimum of 2 years' recent PT experience and eligibility to work 50+ miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient setting primarily treating ortho, neuro, and general medical cases
• Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatric patients
• Typical patient ratio of 12-15 patients per shift
• Schedule is days, 40 hours per week over 4-5 days
• Occasional weekend shifts for inpatient or holiday coverage may be required
• No on-call requirements
• EMR system used is McKesson
• Responsible for therapy evaluations and treatments for a range of orthopedic, neurologic, and general medical diagnoses
• May occasionally need to provide inpatient coverage as needed
• Limited requested time off allowed, not to exceed 5 days
• Holiday coverage may be required as needed
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Orientation duration is 8 hours

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current physical therapy experience required
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Inpatient experience preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active New Hampshire PT license or compact license required if applicable
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
