Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a current MA license and endoscopy experience for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting with some float and precepting to other surgical centers as needed
• Surgical specialties include General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric cases
• Endoscopy procedures required as part of job duties
• Meditech Expanse EMR system is used; experience strongly preferred
• 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No weekends or on-call required
• Facility-provided scrubs are required attire
• May be required to float and precept at multiple surgical centers as assigned
• Holiday coverage may be required if needed
• All scheduling requests, including RTO up to 5 days, must be submitted with initial application
• Facility does not accommodate block scheduling or 10/12 hour shift preferences
• One supervisory reference from within the past two years is required
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation are included

Requirements

• Active MA RN license in hand at time of application
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years current OR circulating experience
• Endoscopy experience required
• Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric surgeries required
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
• Must have personal vehicle for travel to assignments
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
