Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift position in Iowa requiring Epic EMR proficiency and travel nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Room of an acute care hospital
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
No call required
Scheduled to work every third weekend, including holiday rotations
Documentation is completed using the Epic EMR system
Responsible for providing urgent and emergent care to patients in a fast-paced environment
Must participate in the department’s holiday rotation and work assigned weekends
Travelers are expected to limit time-off requests to one day between specified holiday blackout dates
First-time travelers are not eligible for this role

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Active certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), TNCC, and MOAB, MAB, or CPI (may be obtained during onboarding)
Epic EMR experience required
