Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in an LDRP with experience in fetal monitoring and flexible day or night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting
• Manages OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care
• Does not include circulating or scrubbing in the OR
• Uses OBIX for fetal surveillance and Epic for electronic health records with experience highly preferred
• Schedule includes 12-hour variable shifts (days: 0700-1930 or nights: 1900-0730), with every other weekend required
• On-call requirements to be determined
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Patient education and documentation as part of daily responsibilities
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accommodated
• All overtime hours must be pre-approved by management in writing

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required or willingness to obtain
• Minimum of 2 years recent labor and delivery experience with current fetal heart monitoring
• Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
• Experience with OBIX and Epic systems highly preferred
• EFM and STABLE certifications highly preferred
