Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a MS or compact state RN license and recent intensive care experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a hospital setting
- Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
- RTO (Requested Time Off) requests must be less than one week
- Returning employees must follow system-specific rules regarding prior employment
- Night shift role involves critical care patient management within the ICU
Requirements
- Active RN license in MS or compact state required
- Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required
- Current certifications must remain valid; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must not have been employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
