Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in ordering and handling radioactive sources and administering nuclear stress tests.

Responsibilities

• Role based in a radiology department with responsibility for nuclear medicine procedures
• Nuclear medicine performed 2 days per week with 1 day dedicated to stress tests
• Flexible Monday through Friday schedule, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no weekends or call required
• Open to alternative scheduling arrangements, including limited days per week
• Primary duties include performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures and stress tests
• Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and providing patient care and education
• Assists with quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and inventory control
• Expected to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards
• Opportunities to provide instruction to students or other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB required
• North Dakota state licensure required if applicable
• BLS CPR certification required
• Completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training in accordance with department orientation
• 1 to 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred
