Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Atlanta, requiring a GA or compact license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Covers a range of cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology
• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week
• Schedule is 6:45 pm to 7:15 am
• 13-week assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Must be proficient in a variety of surgical procedures such as robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology
• Must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the assignment
• Time off requests must be submitted up front and cannot be requested after an offer is made
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Scrub attire requirements may apply in the OR environment

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years' Operating Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Permanent address must match driver’s license and RN license information
• Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before applying as a traveler
