Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Atlanta, requiring a GA or compact license and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Covers a range of cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week
- Schedule is 6:45 pm to 7:15 am
- 13-week assignment
- No on-call requirements
- Must be proficient in a variety of surgical procedures such as robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology
- Must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the assignment
- Time off requests must be submitted up front and cannot be requested after an offer is made
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Scrub attire requirements may apply in the OR environment
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years' Operating Room nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Permanent address must match driver’s license and RN license information
- Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before applying as a traveler
