Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Vermont requiring a compact or VT RN license and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Primary responsibilities include anesthesia and recovery nursing
Day shifts, working 5x8-hour shifts per week
13-week assignment
Responsible for age-specific direct patient care within established nursing and specialty standards
Assumes leadership and delegation responsibilities among care team staff
Must comply with all state and federal healthcare laws and policies

Requirements

Active VT or compact RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) valid before contract start, or a booked course prior to orientation
Experience in PACU or recovery nursing preferred
