Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) position requiring an active MA RN license, Epic experience, and BLS/NRP certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based LDRP unit serving a diverse island community
Responsibilities include labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
Rotating shifts totaling 36 hours per week
Experience with Epic charting system required
Patient care includes both year-round residents and seasonal visitors
Shared housing is provided at no cost
Team cares for a high volume of patients during seasonal surges
Must be able to work rotating shifts
Local candidates within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital will receive a reduced rate
No accommodations or reduced immunization requirements for religious or medical reasons
Parking arrangements may vary by location and may not be validated

Requirements

Active MA RN license in hand (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
Minimum 1 year of LDRP nursing experience
Current BLS and NRP certifications (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted)
Epic EMR experience required
Proof of MA licensure required for consideration
Flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
