Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) position requiring an active MA RN license, Epic experience, and BLS/NRP certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based LDRP unit serving a diverse island community
- Responsibilities include labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
- Rotating shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- Experience with Epic charting system required
- Patient care includes both year-round residents and seasonal visitors
- Shared housing is provided at no cost
- Team cares for a high volume of patients during seasonal surges
- Must be able to work rotating shifts
- Local candidates within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital will receive a reduced rate
- No accommodations or reduced immunization requirements for religious or medical reasons
- Parking arrangements may vary by location and may not be validated
Requirements
- Active MA RN license in hand (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of LDRP nursing experience
- Current BLS and NRP certifications (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proof of MA licensure required for consideration
- Flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
