Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient infusion center position requiring BLS and chemotherapy certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 65-chair Outpatient Infusion Center
- Provide intravenous treatments to a varied patient population, including oncology and bone marrow transplant cases
- 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week assignment
- No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the winter assignment
- Returning staff must have a 2-year break before being eligible as a traveler
- First time travelers will be considered but must meet all requirements
- Request for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO requests will be accepted after offer
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Chemotherapy certification required
- Oncology and bone marrow transplant experience required
