Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient infusion center position requiring BLS and chemotherapy certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 65-chair Outpatient Infusion Center
• Provide intravenous treatments to a varied patient population, including oncology and bone marrow transplant cases
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week assignment
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the winter assignment
• Returning staff must have a 2-year break before being eligible as a traveler
• First time travelers will be considered but must meet all requirements
• Request for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO requests will be accepted after offer

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Oncology and bone marrow transplant experience required
