Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position caring for spinal neuro trauma and surgical cases requiring Epic EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg unit specializing in spinal neuro trauma and surgical patient populations
- Patients may include those with gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
- Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR is used and prior experience with Epic is required
- Responsibilities include caring for patients with complex neurotrauma and surgical needs
- No requests for time off (RTO) will be accommodated during this contract
- Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for profile consideration
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing specialty
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records is required
- Current certifications and Nursys license verification required
- Resume with explained employment gaps, skills checklist, and two supervisor or manager references from the past 2 years
