Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position caring for complex surgical and neuro trauma cases, requiring Epic experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital setting on the 6B Med/Surg unit
- Patient population includes spinal neuro trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic, and paraplegic cases
- Night shift, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Epic EMR (experience required)
- Care for a diverse patient population with both surgical and neuro trauma needs
- No RTO (requested time off) allowed during this assignment
- Two professional references from similar clinical settings required
- Must provide a current skills checklist relevant to specialty
- Badge-appropriate photo required for credentialing
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Work history with no gaps exceeding 60 days
