Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARDMS (or equivalent) registration for a day shift travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital cardiology department
- Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- Call rotation required on nights and weekends
- Weekend schedule is call only
- Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification must be completed within 30 days of start and kept updated
- Workplace Violence Prevention training must be completed, with free resources available through the CDC
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Scrub attire in accordance with department policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist
- ARDMS or equivalent registry required
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross required
- License required if applicable
