Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health role with at least 1 year of skilled home health and Oasis experience.

Responsibilities

• Home health care setting in West Portland, OR and surrounding areas
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30, Monday through Friday
• Patient care is one-on-one, with up to 6 visits per day and a 30-point productivity standard
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Own transportation is required with daily travel radius up to 60 miles (60-90 minutes drive time, minimized when possible)
• Uses Epic Remote Client and Rover app for documentation, with Oasis required
• Locals within a 50-75 mile radius are accepted at the same rate
• No floating between units required for this assignment
• Responsibilities include providing in-home physical therapy evaluations and treatment for a diverse patient population
• Business casual attire is required; scrubs are allowed but not mandatory and no specific color is required
• Mileage is reimbursed at IRS standard rate
• Candidates must be willing to float between all facilities within the state if required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Returning former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before reapplying and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• Limited time off requests will be considered; excessive RTO may affect consideration

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health experience is required
• Oasis experience is required
• Current BCLS certification is required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to provide two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable setting
• Must have valid driver's license and own, reliable transportation
