Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent skilled home health experience and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering West Portland, OR and surrounding areas
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours, 8:00-16:30; facility cannot accommodate 4x10 or 3x12 schedules
• Caseload is approximately 1:1 patient ratio, with up to 6 patient visits per day and a standard of 30 productivity points
• No weekends or on-call required
• No floating required between units, but may be required to float between facilities within the state
• EPIC Remote Client and Rover used for documentation; Oasis experience required
• Travel radius can extend up to 60 miles with a maximum 60-90 minutes total drive time per day
• Mileage reimbursement offered at IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers are welcome for this role
• Business casual attire or scrubs are acceptable, but jeans are not permitted
• All travelers may be required to float to other facilities within the state if needed
• Former permanent staff must wait a minimum of 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal to no RTO is preferred; extensive time-off requests may limit consideration
• Free parking is available on site

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license required, pending license accepted if applicable
• Minimum 1 year recent skilled home health physical therapy experience
• BCLS certification required
• Oasis experience required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation
• Ability to use EPIC for documentation
• At least 2 supervisory references from a comparable setting within the last three years required
• Social Security card and date of birth required for consideration
