Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Health with an active CA license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting providing therapy to patients in their residence
• Day shift schedule with five 8-hour shifts, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Serves a diverse patient population requiring rehabilitative care
• Main responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and function
• Responsible for providing clinical supervision and serving as a clinical instructor for assigned students
• Must adhere to all privacy and safety regulations in care delivery
• Compliance with a 50-mile radius rule is required
• Returning employees must have a 1-year break before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Only one holiday will be approved for requested time off during the assignment
• Must be available to complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing

Requirements

• Current CA State Physical Therapy License required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Ability to clinically supervise assistants and aides
