Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with at least 2 years of experience and a GA or compact RN license for a day shift position with weekend and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Day shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Must be prepared to work major holidays based on assignment schedule
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed; no time off during first week
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Returning staff must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one full year to be eligible
• If unable to return to a Piedmont facility, must complete a successful assignment outside Piedmont before rebooking
• Travel pairs are not assigned to the same shift on the same unit
• Full compliance with onboarding required prior to start

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Two supervisory references (manager or above) required for consideration
