Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager with oncology and case management experience, as well as a current CA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ambulatory setting focused on oncology and related diagnoses
• Monday through Friday day shift, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 5x8 hour shifts
• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling allowed
• Patient management and charting performed using Cerner EMR, with Cerner experience required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Responsibilities include case management for oncology patients in an ambulatory setting
• Must provide at least one recent supervisory or manager reference from the most recent unit
• Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler
• No time off is allowed within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• First time travelers will be considered
• Professional attire is required; specific dress code details will be provided at assignment

Requirements

• Active and valid CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of case management experience
• Minimum 1 year of oncology experience in an acute care setting within the past 2 years
• Current BLS certification required
• ONS Chemotherapy certification required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must pass EKG exam within 3 attempts
