Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a PCU RN for night shifts requiring TN or compact RN licensure and competency in both Med/Surg and Progressive Care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PCU unit of a hospital setting
• Night shifts available in 3x12 or 4x12 hour patterns from 18:30 to 07:00
• Rotating weekend shifts are required
• Floating to other units is required, including potential 1:7 Med/Surg ratio when floated
• Patient assignments in PCU and may include Med/Surg patients when floated
• RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education as part of their regular duties
• General orientation begins on Sundays and includes online learning modules
• No on-call responsibility is required
• Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified in this posting

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Competency in both Med/Surg and PCU nursing is required
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are accepted
