Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatrics position requiring NICU experience and a Maryland or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatrics unit of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes pediatric, NICU, PCU, prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, iatrogenic NAS, and patients with tracheostomies
• Preferred experience with step-down pediatric care and various neonatal conditions
• Rotating schedule with day and night 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May be required to float to the main hospital location in Baltimore
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Responsibilities include care for children with complex medical and surgical needs
• Must be flexible with floating as needed

Requirements

• Active MD RN or compact state RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
• NICU experience required
• Experience with pediatric tracheostomies required
