Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position in a busy unit requiring an IL RN license and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy labor and delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Care for labor and delivery, OB emergency department, and antepartum patients
• Unit supports a Level III NICU
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Requires working every other weekend
• Holiday rotation coverage is required
• Care for patients through labor, delivery, and antepartum phases in a high-acuity environment
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary perinatal and neonatal team
• Local candidates are accepted, but are subject to a reduced local rate per facility radius rules
• COVID vaccination is no longer required
• All positions are offered via auto-offer process

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• License must be verified via Nursys with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
• Driver’s License copy, two separate professional references, and completed skills checklist required for consideration
