Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with recent Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and a NH or compact license.

Responsibilities

Work in a large, high-tech hospital OR suite with 26 operating rooms
Care provided for both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures
Patient population spans neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric cases
Surgical specialties include ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neuro, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery
Day shifts, 4x10 hours per week
On-call requirement of 4 to 5 shifts per 13-week contract, which may be 12-hour shifts or on-call, day or night
Participate in multidisciplinary surgical teams for a wide range of surgical cases
Work with advanced technology and equipment in a modern OR suite
Must maintain all required licensure and certifications throughout the assignment

Requirements

Active NH or compact RN license required
Minimum of 3-4 years recent OR nursing experience
Must have recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma OR experience within the last 2 years
Current BLS certification required
No local candidates accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
