Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for overnight shifts in a busy emergency department, requiring RDMS certification and EPIC experience.
Responsibilities
- Work setting includes a radiology suite in an emergency department with one ultrasound room on overnight shifts
- Care is provided to ER patients and inpatients
- Clinician-to-patient ratio is 1:1
- Friday shift is 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at a women's health center in Danvers; Saturday and Sunday shifts are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in Salem ED
- 13-week contract assignment
- Uses EPIC for charting
- Primary responsibility is providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging in the emergency department and women's health center
- Must provide proof of MA licensure at time of consideration
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Parking at some locations may incur out-of-pocket costs
Requirements
- Current RDMS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year ultrasound experience required
- MA license required if applicable, must be active prior to start; conditional licenses not accepted
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Ability to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures independently
