Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Illinois requiring an active IL RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is 1:6
• Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:45 to 19:15
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other units is required
• Uses Epic for charting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Up to 7 days of requested time off permitted
• Vaccination exemptions must be submitted within 48 hours of acceptance
• Completion of required modules prior to starting is required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in hand required at time of consideration
• Minimum of one year recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Must pass an EKG strip test at orientation
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
• Pending licenses not accepted
