Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for an Emergency Dept night shift position in Louisiana requiring an active LA or compact license and at least one year of recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Emergency Dept of an acute care hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week travel contract assignment
  • Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
  • Must submit application, nursing license verification, skills checklist, references, and copies of certifications
  • Holiday and weekend coverage may be required per hospital needs

Requirements

  • Active LA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency department nursing experience
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certifications accepted, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required for all ER units; SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI per facility policy
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
