Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position with day shifts and at least one year of recent specialty experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) unit located on the first floor of a hospital
• Patient population includes general adult med/surg cases
• Shift schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Med/surg RNs provide care for a variety of adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs
• RTO (time off) requests must be less than one week
• No local travelers accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent med/surg RN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• Certifications must be current, with none expiring within the first 30 days of start
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility for eligibility
