Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and current BLS and state license.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering 13 counties in the region
• Patient visits scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Rotating weekend coverage every 5th week, with compensatory days off during the week
• On-call required 1 Sunday every 5 weeks
• When working in more distant counties, fewer patient visits are scheduled to accommodate travel
• Preferred experience with Epic EMR system
• Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations and treatments in home settings across multiple counties
• Team members alternate weekly coverage of more distant areas
• Dress code requires black, grey, or khaki pants with a polo or scrub top; no printed clothing
• Orientation includes required online training modules
• Return travelers must have been separated for at least one year prior to consideration
• Required to provide two professional references
• Must submit copy of driver's license and SSN at time of consideration

Requirements

• Current DPT, BLS, and state license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Locals within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate
• Travel physical therapy experience preferred
