Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an outpatient role requiring ARRT(MRI) certification and at least 2 years of MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient diagnostic imaging setting
• Full-time schedule of 4 x 10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with varying shift times between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
• MRI procedures performed using advanced medical imaging equipment
• Assists radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures
• May require on-call or after-hours shifts
• Performs MRI exams and modifies technical settings to ensure high-quality imaging
• Completes documentation and maintains accurate records for interpretation, billing, and archival
• Participates in equipment maintenance, data archiving, and routine quality improvement initiatives
• Must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion in a busy environment
• Experience with EMR, MS Office, and standard office equipment is required
• RTO (time off) is subject to facility approval

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent
• Current ARRT and ARRT(MRI) certifications required
• American Heart Association BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of previous MRI experience
• License required if applicable
• Must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
