Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with active BLS and ACLS certifications for day shifts and no call, weekend, or holiday duties.

Responsibilities

Position is in a PACU setting with a focus on post-anesthesia care
Work with ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastics, gynecology, general/breast oncology, and electrophysiology/cardiac cases
Day shift schedules include 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
No weekend or holiday shifts required
No on-call responsibilities
No floating to other units
Main responsibilities include caring for post-anesthesia patients and supporting a wide range of surgical specialties
No local candidates allowed; must reside more than 60 miles from the facility

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Previous PACU experience is required
Experience in facility with 500+ bed count required
