Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with an active license and at least 1 year of experience for a flexible dayshift home health and hospice position.

Responsibilities

• Home health and hospice care setting
• Service area includes Redwood City, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Stanford, Menlo Park, East Palo Alto, Atherton, and neighboring cities
• Day shift with flexible hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
• 13-week contract term
• Evaluate and treat patients using medically prescribed occupational therapy programs
• Support patients in regaining function and performing activities of daily living
• Provide services in accordance with best practices and the organization’s mission
• May cover a range of communities within the service area as needed

Requirements

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• Current BLS or BCLS certification required
