Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Ambulatory Surgery position requiring a VA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an ambulatory surgery and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) setting
• Day shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM are required
• 13-week assignment duration
• Primary responsibilities include care of surgical patients in post-anesthesia and ambulatory surgery settings
• Full compliance documentation needed including skills checklist, references, and licensure verification
• First-time travelers are eligible for consideration
• Applicants must provide complete professional profile for review

Requirements

• Active VA or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PACU or ambulatory surgery nursing experience
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification with valid expiration date extending beyond 30 days from start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or greater in the last 12 months
• Submission requires U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth
