Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least one year of recent OR experience and an active VA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for surgical patients in a fast-paced OR environment
• Provide perioperative care to surgical patients as part of the OR team
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
• Additional certifications may be required based on specific OR cases or facility requirements
• References and a detailed nursing profile will be requested during the hiring process

Requirements

• Active RN license in VA or compact state required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
