Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position on an oncology unit requiring an active VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the Oncology (6W) unit
• Medical-Surgical patient population with a focus on oncology cases
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Will provide care for oncology patients in the Med/Surg unit
• May be required to float within scope based on facility needs
• Specific dress code and holiday coverage may apply as per hospital policies
• Candidates with Canadian SSNs will not be considered

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification valid for at least 30 days after start
• ONC certification required for RNs working in oncology
• No gaps in work history equal to or exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
