Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a seasoned RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment on the night shift requiring a VA or compact license and at least one year of recent med/surg experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes general medical and surgical cases
- Night shift schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult med/surg patients
- Must submit copies of all certifications and verifications as requested
- Specific documentation requirements must be met for consideration
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of one year recent med/surg experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required, not expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
