Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg Ortho position on a day shift in Virginia requiring an active VA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Orthopedic Med/Surg unit of a hospital
- Day shifts from 7:00AM to 7:00PM
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Unit specializes in orthopedic patient care
- Responsible for delivering nursing care to orthopedic patients on a Med/Surg unit
- Must submit copies of licenses and certifications for consideration
- Three separate application files required as part of the on-boarding process
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent specialty (Ortho/Med/Surg) experience required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
