Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg Ortho position on a day shift in Virginia requiring an active VA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Orthopedic Med/Surg unit of a hospital
Day shifts from 7:00AM to 7:00PM
13-week travel contract assignment
Unit specializes in orthopedic patient care
Responsible for delivering nursing care to orthopedic patients on a Med/Surg unit
Must submit copies of licenses and certifications for consideration
Three separate application files required as part of the on-boarding process
First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active VA or compact RN license required
At least 1 year of recent specialty (Ortho/Med/Surg) experience required
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
