Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a seasoned RN for a GYN Med/Surg position on a women's health unit for night shifts, requiring a VA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Women’s Health Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
- Primary patient population is adult women requiring gynecological medical-surgical care
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week seasonal assignment
- Will provide nursing care to adult female patients with gynecological diagnoses
- Standard hospital dress code applies
- Must provide application, references, license verifications, and certification copies as part of the hiring process
- First-time travelers are accepted
Requirements
- Active VA or compact state RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in a similar setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
