Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience and Epic charting proficiency for a hospital-based day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift, 5x8 hour shifts per week, 8:00 to 16:30
• Unit specializes in acute care physical therapy for hospitalized patients
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Locals residing within 50 miles are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before applying as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved, and no time off is allowed during the first week of orientation
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted for this assignment

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• Active state physical therapy license required (license required if applicable)
• Will accept applicants with a pending license
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience is required
• Epic charting experience preferred
