Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience and Epic charting proficiency for a hospital-based day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift, 5x8 hour shifts per week, 8:00 to 16:30
- Unit specializes in acute care physical therapy for hospitalized patients
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Locals residing within 50 miles are not accepted for this position
- Former permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before applying as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved, and no time off is allowed during the first week of orientation
- No travel pairs or groups will be accepted for this assignment
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- Active state physical therapy license required (license required if applicable)
- Will accept applicants with a pending license
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
- Prior travel assignment experience is required
- Epic charting experience preferred
