Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring full L&D and postpartum experience, night shifts, and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
Provides care for laboring and postpartum patients
Night shifts: 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
Weekend coverage required, minimum of every other weekend or 8 weekend shifts during contract
No on-call required
Floating required within scope, including coverage as a CPO sitter and at a low-risk birthing unit at another nearby campus
Staff works according to AWHONN staffing standards, with break and resource RNs available
Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
Responsible for providing comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
Will work as part of a collaborative team with break and resource RNs
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed
Proof of address required for consideration

Requirements

Active OR RN license required at the time of submission
Minimum 2 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience including postpartum
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN Intermediate
Experience working with AWHONN staffing standards
Epic EMR experience preferred
Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
Pending license not accepted
