Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position requiring at least 1 year of acute care and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Position is based primarily in an outpatient physical therapy setting with occasional coverage in acute care and inpatient rehab
Work schedule consists of 3x10 hour day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 to 17:30
On-call rotation occurs every seven weeks for coverage as needed
Must be able to float to acute care and inpatient rehab as required
Epic EMR system is used and previous Epic experience is required
Attire is Caribbean blue or khakis with lab coat
Holiday coverage is rotated, with expectation to work one holiday per year
70 mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted

Requirements

Current state PT license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care PT experience required
Current BLS certification required
Epic EMR experience required
Previous experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred
Two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years are required
