Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring a VA or compact license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a community hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Must not have been employed by the specified health system in the previous six months
• Facility is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace
• Compliance with a natural nail policy is required
• Time-off requests must be submitted for consideration; holidays off are not guaranteed
• All candidates must undergo fingerprinting and receive cleared results before starting

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license in hand at the time of application
• Minimum of 12 months recent ICU RN experience required
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program; diploma, Associates, or BSN accepted
• Two professional references from supervisors required
• BSN preferred but not required
